What kind of files formats can I upload?
Our aim is to make the process of preparing your memorials and tributes as easy as possible. You can upload all the popular image file type to Eulogise. That includes: Jpeg, Png and Gif.
We can not accept text or video files yet, but we’re working hard on that.
What is the size limit for file uploads?
Don’t be too stressed about the file size. We’ll optimise your files to display with the best quality possible, however you may want to think about the size with regard to your internet bandwidth, data limits set by your internet provider and the speed to upload to Eulogise. Many very large files may take a long time, depending on your internet service.
Also be mindful that image files that are too small will display with a fuzzy or pixelated appearance.
The ideal file size is between 200kb to 3mb, or where the longest side is between 720 pixels to 2000 pixels.
If your files are larger than this, that’s ok, we’ll take care of the optimisation required. If your files are much smaller than this, you may want to consider finding versions with a higher resolution, or use them at a smaller size in the Visual Tribute and Order of Service, with borders.
If you’re unsure, upload one and have a look at how it displays in the Visual Tribute or Order of Service editor. If you’re happy with how they display in the editor preview, you’ll most likely be happy with the final result.
What max number of photos you can upload?
You can have a near unlimited number of photos in your account and in your tributes, it just depends how long or large you want them to be.
For uploading, you can upload a maximum of 100 photos in one go, however, we would suggest uploading in smaller batches, particularly if your files are very large or your internet is not too fast.
